September is my favourite month of the year. I love the change in the air, and London is ready with a plethora of events taking place. September is the trickiest month to choose a Super Seven because of all the wonderful choices, but I have with quite a few fabulous extra’s. Make a note in your diary, and surprise yourselves at what might interest you. Be sure to look through them all. Quite a few events begin immediately, and remember GDIF as featured in the August Super Seven it closes 11 Sept. It is without a doubt a month that will be full of inspiration and visual treats.
Thames Festival 24 Sept : At dusk to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, there will be Platinum Reflections Flotilla on the River Thames from Chelsea to Tower Bridge. More details on our Flotilla blog post or click here for a full listing of events on the river.
London Design Festival 17 – 25 Sept: This year is the 20th anniversary of LDF and with the hub back at the V&A, with a design programme that is sure to be bigger and better than ever.
Chiswick Pub in the Park 2 – 4th Sept : This is the brainchild of Tom Kerridge and I love the whole concept. It has everything from really good food, drinks and a fabulous line up of music over three days in the grounds of Chiswick House.
Christie’s: Sixty Years of James Bond with EON Productions 15 Sept – 5 Oct : This is a must for any James Bond fan – an extraordinary opportunity to own some truly authentic memorabilia – from the only DB5 Aston Martin stunt car to watches, posters, costumes, props and experiences. The pre-sale viewing will be on display from 15-28 September with a printed limited edition catalogue. This is a two day charity auction with EON Productions on-line auction (35 lots) opens 15 Sept until James Bond Day on 5 October and the live auction (25 lots) takes place on 28 September.

Claridge’s Art Space : Claridge’s launches its latest art space with renowned photographer Gavin Bond. An extraordinary exhibition of unseen backstage archive photography from the 90’s in time for London Fashion Week. It’s going to be fabulous darling.. Think of those 90’s models Linda, Christy, Naomi, Claudia – Gavin was always there and backstage. Expect big, bold and stunning photography.

Open House Festival from the 8 – 21 Sept : This year Open House returns for two weeks, not two days. It is a fabulous time to be nosey and see inside incredible London buildings that are not usually open to the public.
