October is fast becoming a busy and exciting month for art. Leading the fun is art fair, Frieze London, which will run in Regent’s Park from 12-16 October.
Catch Frieze Sculpture now. It’s a huge exhibition of sculptures from 19 international artists scattered across Regent’s Park. The public sculptures runs through to 13 November. Frieze Sculpture is free and open to all and runs alongside Frieze London and Frieze Masters.

- The new Fourth Plinth has been revealed. Antelope by artist Samson Kambalu and depicts John Chilembwe, a Baptist preacher. He stands alongside John Chorley, a European missionary.
- Cezanne at The Tate Modern : 5 Oct – 12 March 2023.
- William Kentridge at The Royal Academy : 24 Sept – 11 Dec 2022 and be sure to catch the Milton Avery exhibition that ends 16 Oct.
- Leighton House reopens after their refurbishment. The home of former Victorian artist Frederick, Lord Leighton. : Open 15 October 2022.
- Autumn West End Gallery Hop returns: Thursday 13 October
- Hallyu! The Korean Wave at The V&A : 24 Sept – 25 June 2023.
- The Wallace Collection : Two exhibitions to see; Inspiring Walt Disney closes on 15 Oct. The Lost King : Imagining Richard III closes 8 Jan 2023.
